Garrett Grimshaw

Operations Supervisor

Garrett joined the Conference and Event Services team in May 2017, but has worked at Duke in other roles for over 17 years. He is currently one of the Operation Supervisors and assists students, departments, and external clients in reserving space for events in the Campus Center and coordinating the set-up of those events.  Originally from Durham, he received his Bachelor’s degree from UNC-Wilmington and his Master’s from Southeastern Seminary.  He got his start in events working as a Youth Director. He enjoys movies, being a proud Soccer Dad, Duke sports and anything superhero related.
