Catering Frequently Asked Questions
Each caterer has a different cancellation clause in their contract. Please refer to your contract with your caterer for details.

Please contact your caterer by email or phone as soon as you are aware of the inclement weather cancellation. In most cases your caterer is aware as their on-campus location has been impacted. They will work with you to reschedule or cancel due to this act of nature that is out of your control.
All on campus caterers accept the following forms of payment:
Interdepartmental Request & Invoice Form (IRI)
Checks made out to Duke University
Duke Dining Gift Cards
U.S. Currency
Credit Cards accepted in person or over the phone (Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express)
Food trucks for any event need to follow the Food Truck Event Policy for any requests.
